They weren't the developers. The developers on The Kensington were Kensington Investment Company, Inc./KP Residences LLC.

The common denominator is TAT, The Architectural Team. They designed the Kensington (both iterations) and are who Trinity has paired with for Winthrop Sq.

Not a bad post...I think copley tower is in "yellowy green" or green as hard as that is to believe. Dont think they wouldve started construction on the recladding of the rest without this tower having financing I think.

Dudley sq I would put in orange if not worse

Canvas bright orange unfortunately, I think that has a real uphill battle.

Not sure what 45 worthington is...

I have to say Elkus Manfredi does seem to have a really good concept with this proposal. I like the use of balconies to add texture a lot.

Riff -- Actually it will be built this cycle with two caveats

1) Mahty is the subject of a Federal Grand Jury with an indictment

2) The global economy continues to sputter and slips into recession with the US economy slowing further --- the financing may dry-up for this cycle

Otherwise -- I would expect the selection of a developer within the next few months; followed by preliminary approval in the Autumn / Winter; and demolition of the Garage starting about a year from now

seems to stem from Mumbles' administration, no? Walsh can parlay it into a "I cleaned up corruption and graft" message if he is savvy enough.

Menino, with his overt favoritism, tax breaks for his buddies and stonewalling of anybody who didn't "play ball" with him was pretty much as corrupt as you can possibly get. When push comes to shove, I'd rather have a mayor who believes in our city's potential and creates (construction) jobs and tax dollars for Boston, than one who bends over and kowtows for every NIMBY complaint, which sells our city short and has left us with the current housing mess.

So, while I would never defend corruption, it's naïve to think that the next guy is going to automatically be better. Frankly, I would argue that, even with the current scandal, Walsh is still substantially cleaner than Menino ever was.
