The Hub on Causeway (née TD Garden Towers) | 80 Causeway Street | West End

Good point. Although I have to say that it looks a lot bigger in the renderings that the condo tower, which is right at 500.

Nonetheless, I have really learned to like the new version of the office tower and I agree that it will represent a brand of new Boston Office tech towers.

The office tower is 510'. The height was listed in the revision. I posted the link quite a few pages back and don't have the patience to search for it now. I think the residential tower is 496'.

Too bad there isn't more of a height distinction between the two buildings. I miss that spire too.

Verizon... lol. Just look at NYC downtown for an example of how Verizon holds the worst architecture in its portfolio of any company thats as visible.

^ which would mean the OL/GL pedestrian tunnel opens then too?

Holy shit that podium wrapped up quick. Looks incredible. Seeing the windows finished brings it all together. Cant wait to see how that td garden sign looks too. This is incredible for the area bulfinch is actually becoming nice now which is great.

Heres one of the many open spots in the area, next to that blank wall above theres an open parking lot which is across the street from Longfellow Towers on one side and the Hub on Causeway the other. Its not even on peoples radar when they think about a spot where eventually a tower can go. Theres quite a few open lots in Bulfinch triangle just waiting for something and I feel like the towers going up next door, faa limit, and skyline gap make this a key development area to consider.

Check it out

Its on the right. On the left across the street is another spot.

Its really a great location behind this flat iron this would be amazing.

Across from the gov ctr office tower is another great spot on the left.

Its at the top. Then below is yet another. Theres a couple more throughout bulfinch.

Theres actually a few more open lots in here on the streets in Bulfinch triangle. After the hub, gcg towers, garden garage, these would be a great next step to fill in the gap in the skyline. The FAA limit is higher here too. A couple of the other lots are skinny so some pencil towers would be nice. If those parking lots were built up it could spark the next wave in the area to finally fill the gap in after the other towers in the area that are approved go up. I feel like these will be much more viable once theyre surrounded by all the new development. Some residential towers would go great on these streets and theyre right next to many subway lines and a transit hub across the street.
