bloc party, live from the HoB. the venue is great on the inside: hand-painted walls, NoLa-informed balconies, excellent crowd flow. most of important of all, big-name acts stopping in boston. we architects, planners and developers can turn up our noses. but everyone else in the city is ecstatic.

Re: 1501 Commonwealth Ave instead of a giant cube, the facade should be broken into steps that follow the slope of the site. the allston brighton cdc would have done a better job, but they lost the bid.

how about caffe vittoria in the north end? they have a ton of space, they make the best espresso in the city and they have a full bar. the meetup is a fabulous idea. i'm in anytime weeknights or weekends.
