I would love that lot to be developed. I haven't heard of anything but I believe MGH owns it and I am not sure they be willing to risk losing their parking for even a few months. Hopefully something happens with it sooner than later.

Agreed. I moved in during early February. We had crews in here cutting into the walls looking for leaks in April. The flooring in the units seem very low quality and scratch/scuff easily.

I didn't see this post until now, but I went on the Ashmont home tour. Very lovely to see inside some of those Queen Anne's.

Its in the Avalon building. I have looked in when the doors are open and it doesn't look like much is going on there yet. It looks like Avalon's construction is storing their scissor lifts in there still (which they have have been taking out to put up the lighting in the pedestrian concourse)

I know! This is just one of those "imagine if" situations. Perhaps it could have set a precedent for Worcester having real skyscrapers and allowed it to develop into great business/economic hub...at least more of one than it is today.

They've been working on this for a couple of months now. It is directly across the street from my unit in the Piano Craft. It seems like they are spending a lot of time just on dirt removal, but there was a large pile of dirt in that lot. Looks like it will be good to complete the streetscape.

I just signed a lease here as well, for February. It is a shame that there is no pool, but I am excited to have a view of the trains pulling into North Station and having easy access to the T/shops there.
