Re: Copley Place plan calls for condo tower
I did just that yesterday see the crane thread!

I was at the meeting tonight but I had to leave after I spoke in support of the project. BostonUrbEx, were you there? How did the rest of it go?
It was unanimously APPROVED!
Seconds later, crowd response: "SHAME! SHAME!"

John, I would have stood up and told them to get off their lazy ass and work instead of whining and complaining at every meeting. Seriously, do we ever wonder why most of us are unable to go to these meetings? It's because we actually have things to do, either to go to class or work, etc. These guys come here and complain and complain and they wonder why they haven't made anything of themselves.
BTW, the Folk-Song-Guy was in attendance at the meeting. LOL
I didn't see him get up to speak in opposition before I left, so I assume he did not sing in opposition.
They are literally grasping a straws. John, I would have stood up and told them to get off their lazy ass and work instead of whining and complaining at every meeting. And you know what pisses me off? I support the Occupy Wall Street movement but there is a right way of protesting and a wrong way. .
I'm not speaking about them, I'm talking about those that are complaining that Copley Place is filled of rich stores that they can't shop at or that they don't feel welcome at Copley Place because it is too upscale.Right, Shirley Kressel and Mel King haven't made anything of themselves...
Anyway, once you retire, you can spend all your free time rattling off pro development diatribes at public meetings.
