Driving around New England Pix's

It DOES look like Attleboro.

I really enjoy your tours. Perhaps we should have to guess from now on. I can't wait for New Bedford to come up.

you are both correct!

Remember, when entering this intersection in the reverse direction, you cannot take a left from 123 to 152, even though it seems perfectly rational to do so. I've been pulled over twice there for doing that, and my brother was pulled over as part of a four car chain taking that left - all four cars were ticketed by the same cop.

They don't mess around in Attleboro.

Dairy Bar looks like a train station. Is it?

And the monotonous bendy 9-story building -- an undergraduate dorm?

I only drove by them, but yes the dairy bar looked like the old train station,It had a nice granite arch tresle connected to it.That dorm was quite massive I should've taken a better pix!

Wow, that Durham Federal Building sure looks like it needs to beef up its security.

More from Watertown Mass. I work in Watertown so I'll be adding more pix's as I get them! A lot of former churchs are being converted to condos

My new fave thread, Boston 02124.
(Also, I like pics taken from moving vehicles.)

A few other posters have contributed, so I thought I would.

People here overlook the surrounding towns' important contributions to the Boston metro area, and seem to forget these so-called, mis-identified 'burbs' were vibrant, small communities which still display some impressive environments.

No guessing game, though--Dedham Center, MA

^ cool, thanks! I've been too busy to post and now I'm a few cities behind!

Oh man I always pass those apartment buildings in Cambridge, and good lord, they are such an eyesore. Every time I see them I can't stop looking and wondering who would want to live in there. It reminds me of that brutalist apartment building in London from 28 Days Later

Ok, so I did the "Holiday Stroll" in downtown New Bedford over the weekend (quite well attended, btw) and decided to break off and take some photos of the area.
