The brick looks absolutely awful. The mortar joints are too thick and too white. The brick is endless running bond, no variation. No lintel detail of any kind.

You can turn your head 30 degrees in any direction and see how brick should look.
 
I was never all that good at building structure physics - are these diagonal pieces holding up the cantilever? Obviously they’re not needed now, but perhaps when the concrete floors are poured, then the extra diagonal support is needed?
