Fenway Residence Inn (ACE Tickets) | 121 Brookline Ave | Fenway

Re: 121 Brookline Ave (ACE Tickets)

Thanks for the pics KZ. Footprint is much larger than I had realized. I was wondering how they were going to fit in 175 rooms, but now it makes sense...

Stopped by this site late last week and as you can see work on the foundation and basement are almost complete. I asked one of the workmen about the crane and he said that according to the project schedule they are to start erection on the 28th of this month.

Perfect location -- the Red Sox can house their less expensive non-tallent in the new Marriott Residences until they get shipped back to Pawtucket

Now all we need is a Peninsula or some such top-end hotel in the neighborhood to house the Red Sox expensive non-tallent

121 Brookline Ave 9:27

By the way the plywood is off the windows of the new Marshalls. The signage is up and a crew was working on the shelving fixtures. Did not see a sign or a posting of a Grand Opening date. Nice to have something other than a bar on this stretch of Brookline Ave.

Marshall's Grand Opening was last Thursday, October 18 at 7 am, according to an ad on the back page of last week's Weekly Dig.

Can we go back to everything being red brick?

Pay for it and you can have it. Precast is cheaper ... thus the proforma looks better. Tough to fight the bottom line, no?
