So I found out some of the back story on this building. Apparently the former GC was in way over his head so the Pizzutti's fired him and hired Consigli. That explains why there was very slow progress, then no progress, and now alot of progress.

Thanks for the update. Consigli does great work. I really enjoy working with them.
 
Is there anything planned to cap off the triangle on the flat side of this building? It looks as though they are building that side with the expectation of something else being built there.
 
The coffee shop is there already. There is a thread regarding what buildings should be replaced downtown, and I have to say, that coffee shop is ridiculous. Why did someone build that without developing the whole site?
 
I actually thought that coffee shop was meant as a temporary structure. It is an awful waste of a parcel.
 
This addition looks so alien to the building. I don't like it.
