Forecaster Building Addition |121-127 Portland Street | West End

stick by stick, brick by brick...

I must say, though, they are definitely planning for this to directly abut a building next door. We all await what will be proposed for there...

operation molasses continues

It does. Did you notice how wrinkled, for lack of a better term, is the south side wall's expanse of beige? From the right angle, or when the wind is fierce, it looks like warped wood or wet corrugated cardboard. Yuck. That can't be the final layer: oh, the horror.

Perhaps if it didn't look like cheap vinyl siding, it wouldn't be treated as such.

We can only hope that they know something that we don't know...as in, that something is getting build in front of this in the very near future...

molasses: the projects that keep us hungry and alert like the wounded owl forced to watch a squirrel gathering nuts under his tree.....

Forecaster,
110 Broad St
Lucas
anything ending with Center, Garage, Expansion, Dudley or Square.

I end up giggling every time I see an update on this. Operation Molasses is a very appropriate name for this. I think that lone guy on the jlg is the only guy working on this.

It take a long time to get this level of awkwardness to happen this awkwardly.

Keeping it positive: At least the windows only look like they're made of cheap plastic.

^actually keeping it positive: something great is going to go against that blank wall!

I almost ended up working for this developer. I would have been working on this mess.

what should go up in the adjacent lot?

i'd say what i think but you all already know......

That would be perfect. Maybe a hotel.

On the tall side for that block, possibly as much as 16~18 stories.

You know its a tough project where the best hope for it is what might go next to it.

And whatever goes next to it (completely unknown, not even proposed) will probably be completed first!
