The design... well the horizontal spacing in the facade totally kills it. The massing isn't terrible, though I really wish they had done the top differently.

If anything it throws down a challenge to Wentworth whenever they demolish those old walk up apartments and build something new.

That skyline shot totally encapsulates the point of building tall buildings. First we built churches to show the dominance of God/Religion. Then we built office towers to show the dominance of the Dollar. Now we build towers to house students to show the dominance of higher learning. I guess you can judge a city by the skyline.

Thank you! And it's a Canon Rebel XS--the cheapest SLR they have. And yeah, I edited the picture; I didn't like how bright the sky was compared to the ground. It's a peeve I have when it comes to shooting and my polarizer doesn't do the trick.

^ I just bought the Rebel T3i..... loving it so far, although I don't have all the controls mastered; some colors are definitely off in a few of these shots.

The architect said the goal is to get it finished for the summer, even though it has an official fall opening date. Everything was ahead of schedule. I wonder if it's still the case.

I'm really anxious to see this thing nearly done by the time I get back from Berlin in May!!

I really like the interior lights being on at night now. I had been anticipating it. It'll be even more spectacular when the ground level plaza gets its own illumination.
