Sorry I have to pile on as well - phenomenal shot.

So here's the big question: can you replicate this exact shot 2 summers from now when One Dalton joins this view?
 
Lol I was lucky to be chosen to be a judge in the mayors garden contest and my catogorie was porches,balconies and roof tops 🙂 I'll post more later, wish I brought my real camera, iPhone did a decent job though!

Beacon St between Exeter and Fairfield.

316 Beacon Street roof deck if I had to guess.
 
After seeing how unbelievable those big new trees look in front of the BPL, it's kind of a shame they didn't put in bigger trees here. They look tiny!
 
More important is planting and maintaining them properly and making sure that they prosper and grow. Big trees are great, but if they don't survive they are likely to be replaced by much smaller trees if they are replaced at all.
 
Boston -- the last one with the Armillary Sphere in the rooftop garden -- that's Chamber of Commerce stuff
 
My company may be moving to 888 Boylston. I hate the building, but I'd look forward to moving there.

And not just for Eataly.

888 Boylston, if you haven't heard, has the best view in Boston... hands down. Why? Because it's the only tower without a fking view of 888 Boylston.
 
I cant wait for this building to be done, just so we can stop seeing people whine and complain about it.

The last 2 posts made me laugh so hard. Shepard - I don't share your disdain, but I respect your opinion and laughed hard.
 
I was with a group on the river by MIT and everyone loved the wind turbines on top. It's unique, it's a conversation piece, it's making a big statement about green energy, and almost no one cares that it's a glassy box like everything else these days. With the great ground-level activation and the introduction of exciting new food and retail, this building is hands-down a success to 99.9% of people who will ever see it.

34f -- " it's making a big statement about green energy" -- it most assuredly does -- Green Energy is either a toy for Dilettantes or a Giant Scam -- your choice

The turbines will produce so little energy and what they will produce can't really be used for anything of importance -- perhaps they can be connected to light the crown when the wind is blowing above the Boston Mean Wind Speed? -- it would complement the old John Hancock 4 state weather beacon
