But not really...

It's 285' tall to the top of the roof. M2 and M3 make up 40' (20'/20') alone.

285' now? All the figures I have seen said 260'. This is very good news. Now if we can just a couple 350-400' buildings in Kendall, we will really be in business...

The zoning for the Cambridge Center special district allows for 250' max + any height mech penthouses. To say this project abuses that technicality is an understatement. The mech levels are an epic portion of this building pushing it well over 250', but the last occupiable floor tops off at 232'.

Broad pushed this building to the max and it's a pretty awesome building as a result.

Top of Structure - 284'-6
Roof of Structure - 272'-6
Highest Occupied Floor - 232'-6
Underground Structure - 21'
Width - 171'-6

From Street Level
Top - 263'-6
Roof - 251'-6
Occupied - 211'-6

I believe it would be the fourth tallest in Cambridge

If I'm reading that diagram on the top of this page correct, the first floor of this building is 44ft. Looking at that picture there is no way that floor is is that tall. Also this looks to be close to topping out and it appears to be far shorter than 285, it looks shorter than the new Berklee building.

21ft of structure is below street level

Except this one has more color variation, which so far looks quite nice.

The cladding below the windows doesn't seem to quite match up with the cladding next to them. It's the same material, just lopsided.

^ I'm pretty sure that's just their temporary position while the thing's being put together. You see that from time to time.

This building looks absolutely huge driving down Hampshire Street in Cambridge.
